Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data is processed when you use this website, for what purpose and for how long, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on data protection (GDPR) and the Luxembourg Act of 1 August 2018 on the organisation of the National Commission for Data Protection.
Data controller
- F.C.F.S. — Frank Simon, accountant
- 7, rue Jean-Antoine Zinnen, L-3286 Bettembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
- Telephone : (+352) 621 67 31 05
- Email : fcfs@fcfs-compta.com
The practice is not required to appoint a data protection officer ; any question concerning the processing of your data may be sent directly to the email address above.
Data collected
Only the contact form on this site gives rise to any collection. The fields are as follows :
- your name ;
- your company name, where applicable ;
- your email address ;
- your telephone number, where applicable ;
- the type of situation you select ;
- the content of your message.
The form sends nothing to a server : it opens your email application with a pre-filled enquiry, which you send yourself. The information therefore reaches the practice by email only. The site has no database, creates no account and stores nothing in your browser.
No field calls for sensitive data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR. Please do not include any in your message ; the documents required for an engagement are requested, when the time comes, through an appropriate channel.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no tracking cookies, uses no analytics tool and embeds no advertising tracker or social media button. No consent is therefore required on that basis.
Typefaces are served from the site itself and the map is a static image ; no resource is requested from a third-party service when the pages load.
Purpose and legal basis
The data submitted is used solely to read your enquiry, to reply to it and, where applicable, to prepare a quote or a first meeting. It is not used for any marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
The legal basis is the taking of steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for exchanges that do not lead to an engagement, the legitimate interest of the practice in handling the enquiries addressed to it (Article 6(1)(f)).
Recipients
Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. It is processed by Frank Simon alone and is accessible only to the email provider and the website host, acting as processors. Disclosure to a third party can occur only on your instruction, or in performance of a legal obligation.
Retention period
Emails generated by the form are kept for as long as is necessary to deal with the enquiry, then deleted no later than twelve months after the last exchange, where the enquiry has not led to an engagement.
If your enquiry does lead to an engagement, the corresponding data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the statutory retention periods applicable to accounting records and professional obligations in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Hosting and location of data
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company incorporated in the United States, whose worldwide network of servers includes servers located in the European Union. The practice transmits no form data to that host : the form sends nothing to a server. Technical connection data (IP address in particular) processed by the host may, on the other hand, give rise to a transfer outside the European Union, governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Emails and documents received are stored on password-protected devices and accounts, accessible to the data controller alone.
Your rights
In respect of the data concerning you, you have the following rights :
- the right of access and the right to obtain a copy of your data ;
- the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data ;
- the right to erasure, within the limits of statutory retention obligations ;
- the right to restriction of processing ;
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest ;
- the right to portability of the data you have provided.
These rights may be exercised by simple email to fcfs@fcfs-compta.com or by post to the address of the practice. A reply will be sent to you within one month ; proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to the identity of the person making the request.
If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD), the supervisory authority of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg : www.cnpd.lu.

This policy may be amended to take account of changes to the site or to the applicable rules. Last updated : September 2026.
